Hi,
Noted your history about having recurrent throat problems, consulted ENT Surgeon, had Endoscopy, pain in neck glands, dry throat, tenderness on one side of thyroid and so on.
As per the history you have provided your problems may most probably due to an
autoimmune disease affecting the salivary, thyroid, minor salivary glands of mouth.
I would advise you the following:.
Take a
second opinion of another ENT Surgeon and also
consult a Rheumatologist for clinical evaluation and get all the relevant blood tests related to autoimmune disease. ESR, CBC,
thyroid function tests and so on as would be advised.
If this turns out to be the cause of your symptoms then the treatment will be specific.
Once this part is over and declared well you can opt for surgery to correct deviated
nasal septum is your Surgeon thinks this to be of need.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
