What Causes Ear Bleeding While Suffering From Viral Meningitis?

i was hospitalized for three day from june 5th through the 8th i was diagnosed with viral menengitus.....for the past three days my ear has been bleeding and hurting and now i cant hear out of it and my neck is starting to get really stiff again and the top of my head feels like ive been beat....should i go back to the hospital?
