What Causes Ear Pain And Cold?
I have a 5 yo who is complaining of ear pain, scratching at his ear and he has been suffering from a cold. So far so good. (!) I got him to gently blow his nose after he was crying and it is red with blood, though it's not a streaming bleed. Ear infection?

The middle year is connected to the Pharynx (throat).
Cold accentuates ear infection.
As such cold and ear pain occur simultaneously.
