What Causes Earache And Dizziness After Swimming?

hi, i had pool water get in my ear and i couldn t get it out. 2 days later i went to urgent care and the nurse got rid of my wax and water by spraying hard-forced water spray from a gun into my ear. It hurt very much and i was initially dizzy for 10 seconds. now a week later my ear feels clogged and hurts every now and then. do you think i have a bruised eardrum? i did get antibiotics forths a few days ago.

Hi welcome to HCM...

According to history cause for dizziness might be otological causes ...

Here for impacted wax , you have history of syringing procedure for wax removal....

So yes bruised ear drum , otitis infection like cause can be there. ..
Otological examination with help of otoscopy is needed and according to finding further management decided ...
If needed suitable antibiotic ear drop might be prescribed. .

If still wax there than suction procedure will be helpful...
If inflammation present over ear drum than short term steroid given ...
