What Causes Early Menstruation Post Intake Of Femilon?
Hi, I started taking femilon after my periods were complete (only once), I ate it for 5 days but then stopped as i was not felling ok. After stopping that my periods started in 5 days, it was so early. Not next month, my peiods did not start even after 1 month. Will it be started as per the date which was before i started eating Femilon?
Femilon can have some undesired side effects like menstrual irregularities, inter-menstrual bleeding, etc. As you abruptly discontinued the pill you had a withdrawal bleed within 5 days. Now that your next cycle is delayed, we cannot accurately calculate your expected cycle duration at this point in time.
In most cases, the cycle returns to normal within 2-3 months and from there on you can begin to calculate your cycle as you previously did. If it does not, then report to your prescribing doctor for further assistance.
Best wishes.
