General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to give you some tests:

1. Chest CT

2. Endobronchial ultrasound

3. Serum amyloid A

4. Complete Blood Count

5. Blood Culture

6. Urine culture

Meanwhile, you can start:

Prednisone 10 mg orally per day. If after 14 days, no improvement, please increase the dose to 20 mg. If again after 14 days, no improvement, then again increase to 30 mg. If after 14 days, improvement occurs, do not increase.

But, at any cost, do not increase above 50 mg per day. For pain, Ibuprofen can be taken.

So, now please do the tests and after you get the result, please post another question with the results. Any doc here in HCM can follow you up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
