What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Along With Shortness Of Breath?
My bp has been elevated all afternoon. My first reading around 2:30 was 138/89 with a heart rate of 86...just now i checked again and its at 149/95 with a heart rate of 76. I m experiencing tunnel vision, some shortness of breath and both my hands and feet have become cold. I m sitting at work wondering whats going on.
Dear sir, consistently high blood pressure associated with shortness in breathing is not a good sign. some additional information regarding your age, family history of hypertension, heart disease or diabetes and your personal medical history is requested.meanwhile you should moniter daily blood pressure twice a day with proper charting of day and time for 5 days. You are requested to stop smoking if any or any other form of tobacco abuse and alcohol from immediate effect, start controlling your weight by means of appropriate dieting and exercise like brisk walking,if you are overweight.Get yourself tested for diabetes, serum cholesterol with lipid profile, get an ecg done and get your eyes checked by ophthalmologist, this is high time you should act sir, hope this was helpful to you. Thanks and regards
