What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure And Fatigue?

Hi , I am a 47 year old male who had a heart attack on 9/12/16 .I had a stent [Xience]titanium placed in me . I am currently taking 85mg aspirin, 40 mg Atorvastatin, and 90 mg Brilinta. My blood pressure is about 100 [High end reading] and I am felling very drained and tired. I also feel winded when bending down. My DR tells me that the blood pressure is the most likely cause for this and it can take some time for my body to get used to it. I understand that but I am getting a little concerned because I don t know how long I should Waite before I conceder changing to Plavix instead of Brilinta and/or If I should change Atorvastatin to something ease instead?

Hello,

Ok, there are a number of measures of cardiac function such as echocardiograms, nuclear stress, or even catheterization that tell how much the heart is able to pump.

If the amount out is not normal other medications should be used. since none of the ones, you mention help blood pressure nor help the heart to pump.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
