What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Despite Taking Coversyl?

Hi I ve been taking ramipril for several years and everything was going fine. My doctor changed my pills for coversyl and taking my blood pressure I find it is quite high 155 /90 and I have a slight headache. Every time I have a slight headache I know that my blood pressure is a bit high. While taking ramipril I never had headaches. Should I return to ramipril? Or wait a bit to see if the situation persists.

Hi,
Let your doctor take decision about changing medicine on ramipril or increase the dose of Coversyl.
Do not change BP medicine by your self.
Keep record of your BP for some time and after seeing record your doctor will go for treatment accordingly.
Ok and take care.
