What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels And Severe Headaches?
I have been taking 80 mg of Linsinopril for over a year but recently my pressure has gone way up even on the medication. My last pressure reading was 172/108. Two weeks ago it was 185 don t remember the bottom number. So it has gone down. I had an infected tooth two weeks ago I thought that might have had something to do with it. Aside from the high pressure in the last two weeks I have had nausea off and on where I can t eat anything for a couple of days. Just a little water and a few non salt crackers. For the past two months I have been drinking about 6 table spoons of apple cider vinegar with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and water. Three tablespoons in the morning and 3 at night, about four or five times a week. I am not sure if that is raising my pressure or not. Yesterday I had a pretty bad headache but I get migraines sometimes too. Salty or fried foods aren t my vice sweets are but I have always eaten lots of fruits and vegetables. Could it be any of these things causing my pressure to go up or should I have my medication changed? I have an appointment with my doctor in a week. Thank you.
