What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels Despite Taking Losartan And Atenolol?
I am discouraged re BP: I take Losarton?HCTZ 50mg/12.5 in am wiht 1/2 25 mg Atenolol at night. The past few months my BP morning read is 145-153/91-95. Today my doctor increased AM med 100 mg/12.5 HCTZ. I am wondering what other steps I might take to decrease BP? Any chance of getting back to 50mg/12.5 level?

high blood pressure is lifestyle disease. change ur life style like regular exercise, reduced salt intake, reduce oil and junk foods. do yoga like things to reduce stress. dont keep on think that u r sick and taking drugs. that itself increase stress. blood pressure value is variable. 140/90 is high normal only.
