HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

High blood pressure can be termed essential hypertension or secondary hypertension.
Essential hypertension is most common, in this condition there is no obvious cause, there may be a family history but there is no obvious factor causing the high blood pressure.

In secondary hypertension there is an obvious cause such as hormonal causes.
These are mostly checked in young persons with high blood pressure.

There are blood and urine tests that can check the levels of the different hormones that causes high blood pressure .
Your doctor can check these for you if these are suspected.

If no obvious correctable cause is found, you may need your medication altered for better control.

I hope this helps
