I have never had high blood pressure, but the last few months it has bee consistently in the range of 153/85-89. I m just turned 65. I have also been having a lot of headahes. Are these connected? Why would I suddenly develop HBP--nothing physically has changed.
Yes, headache is due to high blood pressure. Increased blood pressure ia may be due to your age factor as your age is 65 yrs, so as age increases, artery becomes stiffs, so blood pressure increase. Kindly consult with physician as you may reqire anti hypertensive medications for that. Restrict salt intake in diet. Do regular exercises.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
Regards, Dr Shyam Kale Family and general physician
