Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Elevated Heart Rate And Blood Pressure Levels?
Hello, my husband had oral surgery a few days ago, and is healthy takes no medications/vitamins at all. He is taking Norco and Clindamycin and his pulse rate is high anywhere from 120-135 for no reason. He couldn’t sleep well last night, and otherwise feels fine. I’m worried about the high heart rate, BP is 103/64
Oral surgery can really be very painful. So painkillers should be taken to subside that. Since heart rate is on the higher side and blood pressure is little lower either it could be pain response only. Ask him to take ibuprofen Imol plus for five to ten days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
