What Causes Elevated Heart Rate And Blood Pressure Levels?

My resting heart rate is 80. I have high blood pressure and started new medication today. Is this something I should seek medical attention for tonight or wait tomorrow. It has been averaging 70 during the day but in the morning when I wake up 66 or 68

You do not need to worry about the rate u mentioned .normal heart rate is considered to be between 60 and 100 if otherwise ok. 80 is pretty normal and time to time variation of pulse is common and necessary. Our heart rate gets up and down with our activities. So, don't worry if it is between 60 and 100. I would be glad to answer any further question you have in this regards.
