What Causes Elevated Heart Rate And Blood Pressure Upon Lying Down?

Every time I lay down my heart rate goes to 110-130 & blood pressure goes 147/90. When I am awake its 120/80 & heart rate of 65-75. It is ONLY when I lay down & EVERY time I lay down, day or night. Doctor thinks its anxiety. This doesn t make sense that it never happens when I m up but happens when I lay down at night or for a nap & it happens the whole time I m laying down. I do have a tricuspid valve leak but the dr said when they checked it 4 years ago it was very mild. Could this be anxiety, or is this a cardiac issue?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you go on reading the blood pressure and pulse on your own then you would get the different reading every time and that would depressed you, reading BP and pulse on your own does not prove anything neither it is anything to do to you if no symptoms are there then why to worry hope this information helps.
