What Causes Elevated Levels Of D-dimer?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have a high d-dimer account, and have had ultra sound on my legs with no clots found.. A CT scan on lungs no clots found, and ultra sound on my heat have not received those test back yet.. Why is it high 1121, and was re-checked Friday waiting to see if it has dropped..

Blood clots are just one possible cause of elevated ddimers. There are some other disorders such as gynecologic disorders, autoimmune disorders, smoking,liver cirrhosis and some rare ones so if there won't be a fall,you should do more extensive work up.
