What Causes Elevated Prolactin Levels And Negative Pregnancy Test?

Hi M nisha...my prolactin level was high and so doctor suggested me to have furtisure f, cabgolin and B-Long F This month my periods missed.my date is 10th..still monthly periods cramping is not there....I did pregency test on 12th but it was negative.... Whta should I do...should I wait again for next test...it was so early I did the test or what? M i pregnant?....plz guide me

Hi I think high prolactin level can also delay the periods. You can wait for one more week and repeat the test. If negative, you can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. Also get a thyroid profile and ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries. You can track your ovulation by repeated ultrasound or by ovulation detection kits. If you are not ovulating, you can take some medicines like clomiphene for inducing ovulation. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
