What Causes Elevation In The BP Level And Tinnitus While Having AFib?
71 year old male diagnosed with AFIB 3 weeks ago and put on medication. AFIB episodes are currently infrequent but he did have AFIB the last two evenings. Last evening, blood pressure spiked to 212/188. Ears ringing, etc., but blood pressure started to go back down after a few minutes. AFIB episode typically lasts 45 to 90 minutes. He has had a triple by-pass 2.5 years ago. Total of 10 stents, latest one installed during the AFIB diagnosing process. Should we have gone to the ER last night?
Hello Dear. Yes, kindly go to ER whenever there is symptoms of AFIB. Some of the tips i would like to suggest you in brief 1. Take medications very regularly as prescribed by your doctor. 2. Try to reduce the risk of heart disease by following some preventive measures as follows
i. Regular exercise daily atleast half an hour per day ii. Good sleep iii. Drink lots of water iv. No smoking, cut down on alcohol v. Do not take stress- socialize, develop good habits, music, painting, keep yourself happy vi.Learn meditation techniques, yoga
