Hi my name is Allison, I'm female and im 16 years old. I have this lump on the left side of my neck that I have had for 4 months now. It also hurts occasionally but not when you touch it. Last week I went to the doctor and she said it was just an enlarged lymph node probably from an infection but didn't say what. Could this be or turn into anything serious? I know enlarged lymph nodes can mean anything from an infection to cancer.
