Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Enlarged Uterus, Nausea, Vomiting, Sore Breasts And Moodiness?
I had my last period on 6/18/15 and had nothing but negative pregnancy tests including 2 blood tests done two weeks apart at the doctor s office. I have all the symptoms of being pregnant (nausea, vomiting, sore breasts, moodiness, and food ad-version just to name a few.) At my last doctor appointment, my doctor told me that my uterus is enlarged, but the blood test was negative. They told me to wait a week and if the symptoms continue to come back in. Am I pregnant or is there something else going on?
* As per my clinical experience, the enlarged uterus, nausea, vomiting, sore breasts and mood alterations indicate underlying endocrinopathy rather than pregnancy.
* After thorough clinical examination, basic lab tests, ultrasound of the abdomen , pelvis and transvaginal approach are mandatory to reach to particular conclusion of cause and manage accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
