What Causes Epithelium Loss In Left Eye Post Cataract Surgery?
I am 65 years old.i am diabetic from 27 years.i got right eye cataract operation in jan2013.i got left eye cataract operation in october2015. after operation to left eye,epithelium loss was observed .dueto this aome fluid is accumulating and covering the eye .hence vission getting reduced from 6/6 to 6/12and progressing.hence i am prescribed gloeye tablet-1/day,1 drop each of (1)nepatop drops,(2)tear drops four times a day.can u suggest on recovery of the epithelium loss occured during operation please.
With age, new epithelium regeneration can be lost and so you may have developed this problem. Usually, it will get resolved on its own or else you make seek a cornea specialist's opinion.
