What Causes Excess Abdominal Bloating Despite Taking Plan B?

Hi there. So long story short I had unprotected sex with a guy a couple nights ago and he ejaculated inside of me. 12 hours later I took a plan B pill but I am so worried about whether or not it will work. I should be expecting my period about a week after the incident occurred so I m not certain whether I was ovulating or not. I started bloating heavily today! I mean I feel like a whale but my breasts aren t sore like they usually are when I pms. Does this mean it worked and my hormones are just all out of whack from the pill?

Regarding your symptoms of abdominal bloating after a previous unprotected sexual Intercourse following intake of plan B pills I am suggesting that you have developed an abdominal gas other causes include
Intestinal obstruction
Constipation
Peritonitis
Ascites
Organomegaly
Excess food
Pregnancy


Concerning whether you are pregnant I am sure you are not inadvertently you can do a pregnancy test to rule out any doubts

Meanwhile please do an abdominal x-ray and see a gastroenterologist specialist with the result and for expect clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
