Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Insomnia (lack of sleep), being worried, emotional changes and excessive sweating only at night- all these probably indicates a mood disturbance like anxiety disorder. We have to look for and correct any contributing factors like professional, financial stress or addictions.

Diseases like thyroid dysfunction also can manifest like this. Kindly take him to a psychiatrist for evaluation. Meanwhile give him emotional support and a caring atmosphere.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
