What Causes Excessive Crying And Loss Of Confidence?

hello im 16 years old and i think i suffer from depression. i get really upset over the smallest things and start crying for days. sometimes i burst into tears over nothing. I find it hard to sleep, and if i wake up early i can't go back to sleep. i've started hated myself even more since i injured my nose and i have thati don't want to be here any more. i've lost nearlly all my confidence. academicly im really behind and find it hard to concentrate because im constantly thinking about stuff. i really don't know what to because the way i am acting is effectiong my parents because they are constantly worried about me. my dad suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol which makes me feel even more bad. but i don't know whats happening to me because i just can't stop feeling like this.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I can understand your emotions. Instead of suffering yourself, you should consulting a psychologist for diagnosis of depression. Disappointment in life can also show symptoms equivalent to clinical depression but the symptoms pass within some weeks or so. I sincerely think, you also are disappointed, not clinically depressed. You need to challenge your problems and get motivated to taste success in life.
