What Causes Excessive Facial Hair Growth After Using Panderm Plus?
M a girl of 22. I ve been using panderm plus for da past 2/3yrs as frns adviced me for da pimples n itch on my face. I find a facial hair increased....so...l wanted to knw da use of it n da side effect...n on how l should get rid of my pimples, rashes n itch
Panderm plus is a cream combining antibacterial, antifungal and steroid components which is to be used only after doctor's prescription. In addition, its long term use for years is contraindicated for the possibilities if steroid dependence and side effects.
The itch and rashes you experience are due to the long term use of antifungal component of the cream. Also, doctors do not recommend this cream for acne as it has no component preventing or curing acne.
Now, I would advise you to discontinue use of this cream and visit a dermatologist for examination of the rashes. You might have to go for blood tests. Based on the physical examination and test results, treatment can be advised. I would advise to refrain from any experiments on skin without doctor's prescription in future.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
