I am also falling asleep trying to get home from work in the evenings around 10pm when lights are shining in. I am getting plenty of sleep but do have recently diagnosed Lymes to which I have just started detox. I am not falling asleep per say more like totally zoning out - have tried pinching/slapping etc

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Even while on treatment you may experience lingering symptoms of fatigue, tiredness, stress, exhaustion, lack of energy or sleepiness.

Get physically examined at ER, you need oral antibiotics or intravenous antibiotics with other support therapies if you are suffering from chronic or late stage Lyme disease.

In the meantime, take regular showers, wear tick repellent on your skin or clothes.

Neglect will result in complications like arthritis, inflammation of the brain or heart problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
