What Causes Excessive Weight Gain During Menopause?
I am 54 year old and I am going through menopause. Nine years ago I started gaining weight. I was working until my doctor to me out because of my lupus. I have lost 17 pounds out of 30 pounds I gain but now I having problems losing the last 13 pounds could menopause be one of my problem?

As there is weight gain to a substantial amount, definite concern with hormone changes in terms of lack of estrogen and loss of negative feedback over hypothalamus comes into action.
