What Causes Excessive Weight Gain While On Diltiazem?
I am a 64yr old male, still active in good fitness, I am currently on Diltiazem 180mg twice a day since last yr when I was hospitalized for a stint . I ve recently noticed in the past two weeks extreme weight gain 10-15lbs above my average. Nothing has changed from normal activities and diet. Could this be the medication ?

it may cause unexpected sudden weight gain in few patients. But also check hypothyroidism or Cushing's syndrome or sedentary lifestyle etc.
Please consult your endocrinologist he will examine for the exact cause of your symptoms and treat you accordingly.
