What Causes Excessive Weight Gain While On Lisinopril?
yes I have been on lisinipril fo 4 years now, 4years ago I weighed 175lbs. ,since taking it for 4 years now I weigh 236lbs.It turned me into a fat looking mess is that a side effect or what .Hey are people lcensed doctors or what, who am I texting to?
Since you have been taking Lisinopril since 4 years, its a long duration, it can cause side effects like weight gain. You may experience increased weight due to swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, lower legs, face, etc. due to prolonged intake of Lisinopril. If you have such side effects then you should get clinically examined & get your medicines replaced by other medication that suits you better. Maintain a low BMI, do regular exercises, walking, cut on salt, alcohol or addictions if any. Avoid oily food, red meat, dairy products. Take home made healthy food. Maintain healthy lifestyle.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
