Hello Mam,
I just read your query.
* As you have been facing the problem of over weight and trying from quite a long time then let me explain you some things as your thyroid is under active and you also underwent hystrectomy then some sort of hormonal imabalance is there in your body.
* When excessice weight is due to hormonal imbalance then it took longer time to shed off extra kgs as compared to when excessive weight is due to unhealthy diet and life style.
* Its good that you have quit smoking, because smoking has multiple adverse effects on your body.
* As you have been trying from so long, instead of loosing you gain 2.4 kgs. Then there is something wrong in your practice. May be you have adopted a wrong diet plan or you are not doing exercise in right manner.
* First of all improve your diet. Take five small meals rather than three big meals. As it would be easier for your body to digest small meals and also it will compensate your body's energy requirement regularly. Add more of fresh fruits, vegetables, wholegrains in your diet. Take foods which are low in glycemic index. Eat everything in propotionately, your body needs everything proteins, carbohydrates and fats. But take in appropriate ratio, because over eating will lead to excessive fats which will ultimately accumulate in body. You can take a diet chart from a dietician too,if you want.
Avoid excessive caffeinated drinks, junk food etc.
* Sleep well atleast for 6 to 8 hours and try to go to bed before midnight. As normal sleep pattern has a major role in maintaining normal health and control of weight.
* Do walk daily atleast for 30 minutes. Prefer brisk walk, as it will also improve thyroid health.
Add yoga and exercise in your routine. You can do Surya Namaskar daily. It will be very beneficial for you.
You can also take help of professional trainer to learn right kind of exercise and yoga and then can do self practice.
* Try all these regularly and you will soon feel positive results. Be patient for sometime as it will take some time.
* I hope you are satisfied with my answer and it will be helpful for you.
Thank you.
