What Causes Extensive Bleeding Post Abortion?

i had my abortion through pills my bleeding stopped after 10days..later after 22 days i started bleeding i thought it was my period it stopped in 3 days.. after 1 week i again started bleeding which continued for 3/4 day..again after that i started bleeding since 2 days.. why is that so??
