What Causes Extreme Exhaustion, Breathing Difficulty, Oral And Vaginally Thrush?

Hi thank you i am a 36 year old healthy female teacher.... i have been to the doctor twice in a week and am unhappy with the diagnosis... on my first visit she said I had a bacterial infection that may develop into a viral infection and advised me to take anti biotics in a few days... i was bacj 5 days later with flu like symptoms; extreme exhaustion, breathing difficulty and oral and vaginally thrush.... i needed a sick cert to take some time off work and she simply wrote pharynxitis. .. she gave me thrush tablets, oral drops and told me to continue with the anti biotics..... im exhausted and can barely climb the stairs ... am I over reacting... my boss will think I have been over reacting with a sick cert that only says pharynxitis. .. i am concerned andannoyed.

Hi,

Higher antibiotics along with infection itself can cause exhaustion, weakness and oral/vaginal thrush due to damage to normal oral and vaginal flora (which in turn can reduce food intake and exhaustion too). The sensitivity to symptoms differ personality wise. This can be explained to your boss and he will not feel you to be over acting. Request your doctor to add it to your certificate please.
