What Causes Extreme Fatigue While On Morphine And Hydrocodone For Pancreatitis?
I have chronic pancreatitis and am on a morphine patch along with hydrocodone. Been on these meds for almost five years which has eased my pain but has caused other issues health wise. I d like to know what theses meds are doing to me long term. I have no energy anymore and am usually sick to my stomach. I m 55 yrs. old and don t want to live like this any longer. What other options do I have besides being doped 24/7?
You are experiencing side effects and withdrawal symptoms of Morphine and Hydrocodone. You are suggested to take rest and have adequate sleep. To reduce fatigue take food rich in protein and minerals. You can also take multivitamin capsule and immunity capsules, once daily for 1-2 months.weight, exercise regularly.
Take home made food (food with green leafs, nuts, high protein diet) and stay well fed. Your treating doctor will help you maintain blood pressure, temperature, heart rate & respiration.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
