Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 56 year old female.29 years ago I had a mitral valvotomy performed, due to mitral stenosis.I have not been back to my cardiologist for 5 years, but have been feeling extremely tired over the last few months.I am 5feet, 5inches and weigh 61 kilos.
Structural problem in mitral valve will lead to some functional defect in individual heart. complaints like breathlessness, palpitation will occur. I advise you to consult a cardiologist to know the status of the mitral value function with help of ECG and ECHO.
any other systemic abnormality should also be ruled like (Anemia, thyroid) behind your tiredness.
thank you hope i answered your query.
