What Causes Extremely Itchy Upper Left Arm?

I have been suffering from an extremely itchy upper left arm for about 10 years but it is getting worse. I have been to a specialist, but can t remember the name he gave me. The only thing that seems to relieve it is putting ice straight on the site. It does not occur constantly, but often at night and the itch is almost unbearable. Extremely itchy upper left arm is mostly due to some sort of fungal infection for which you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for severe itching. You can use betnovate-c or clobit-gm cream for local application. If the problem is persistent you can take some steroids as suggested by your doctor. Apply Vaseline or coconut oil over the arm to reduce the severity of itching.
