What Causes Extremely Sensitive Clitoris And Swollen, Sore Vagina?
A couple of months ago my vaginal sera became very swollen and sore, my clitoris was also inflamed so much that it split in two down the middle, it healed but didn t grow back together but is now like two skin tags stuck onto the rest of my clitoris. It can be overly sensitive sometimes and then others not sensitive atall, it seems to be getting worse should I visit a GP or a gynecologist ?
Hormone imbalance which causes shifting estrogen levels and make the walls of your vagina thinner and more prone to tearing could be the cause.
Switching birth control methods or excessive exercise may be to blame. Chronic skin conditions can make your skin more fragile and prone to tearing. Examples include: eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus and lichen sclerosus.
Certain treatments for these conditions, like oral corticosteroids, can also cause your skin to weaken and thin over time. You can visit your gynaecologist for further management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
