What Causes Eye Floaters During Cough While Treating Sinus Infection?

I see light flashes in my eyes when I cough, whether they are open or closed. It doesn t happen every time but has happened about 10 times today. I currently have a sinus infection with ear pain and have an Rx for augmenting 875mg that I started on 6/10. The lights flashes started around 4am this morning when I woke up coughing.

Hello,

* The eye floaters with cough and history of sinus infection treatment indicates non-specific sensations not relevant on a clinical basis, provided your blood sugar, BP are stable with clear vision sharpness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
