What Causes Eye Floaters With Headaches In A Hypertensive Person?

Joni Klees Michigan......came on today.....Floating spots or strings in vision, later this eveing mild a little moderate....headache right side back & top side...no high blood pressure checked that , take lisinopril with a water pill, started taking low dose Aricept aboyt 6-7 weeks ago, have a Neurologist appointment in 2 weeks for more testing of early onset Alsheimwers (on both sides of my family). Have a positive attitude about it tryint to stay up until all test are done, a woman of Faith!!! Age 65 on the 17th this month, married, about 15lb over my weight, not depressed,no migraines, not an alchoholic, not heart problems, not anxiety, not side affects to anything I am taking. Not on a diet.

Thanks for posting on HCM
Hypertension may give you all the symptoms you describe especially if poorly controlled.I will suggest you see an Ophthalmologist to evaluate you for hypertensive retinopathy.It may give you floating spots or strings in vision.
I will suggest you continue with your BP medication, reduce salt intake and exercise regularly.A pain drug drug for headache like paracetamol will do until you see the Ophthalmologist.
Respect your appointment with the Neurologist.However, that may not be the reason for your present symptoms.
