What are your thoughts.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Eye floaters are tiny specks or strings that float into your field of vision. They may be especially noticeable when you look at something bright, such as white paper or a blue sky. Age-related changes to the eye are the most common cause of eye floaters. Most eye floaters are caused by small flecks of a protein called collagen. Rarely, eye floaters can result from eye injury or diabetic retinopathy. Presence of few eye floaters usually does not indicate a serious eye problem. Thus, benign eye floaters does not require medical treatment. You can move them away by means of eye exercises by looking up & down and side ways several times. If they are bothersome, and are dense and numerous affecting your vision, you need to consult eye doctor and you may be required to undergo a surgical procedure called vitrectomy. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
