What Causes Eye Problem After An Electrophysiological Study?
I had a electrophysiological study (EP) and cathether ablation one week ago today. The procedure was a success and my arrhythmia is gone. During the procedure I was cardioverted to restore normal heart rate after the physician had induced atrial fibrillation. Two days post-op, a close friend who is a medical professional noticed my left eye was pointing left of centre. This was verified by myself and a number of other people. There is no effect on vision but it is still concerning. Any advice or recommendations?
Hi ! This is strabismus or eye deviation. If it is of recent neurological origin, it may show early recovery of its own. Go for initial eye check up But ideally one should go for neurological evaluation also with CT and MRI. One should try to establish the real cause.
