Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Fainting, Disorientation And Tinnitus?
In three weeks I have an appointment to be tested for vagus nerve disorder. I have multiple symptoms....fainting being a big one. I also am disoriented and there s ringing in my ears. Should I wait three weeks, or should I try to get an appointment sooner? I m a healthy 62 year old female, and in the past two months developed symptoms - episodes of dizziness almost every day, depending on what I m doing.
Since you have been having tinnitus, don't delay, get examined. You need medications, nerve functions & Imaging tests along with Audiometry to test your hearing capacity. Your inner ear problem leads to vertigo, take Vertin. Avoid driving & stay at rest till you are treated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
