My husband has a severe infection in two teeth that has gone to the nerve. We are getting on a plane tomorrow morning to return home. He was given oxicodone and amoxicillin today. He has A-fib and a heart valve condition and takes coumadin, ramipril, and metropolol daily. He is 82 but in very good physical condition. I noticed that there can be interactions with amoxicillin. Not sure about oxicodone. He was in great pain during the last 24 hours and is exhausted. He had a short bout with chills when going to bed. Should we be worrying about any problem with the medications above? Our flight is 3-4 hours and then a 3-4 hour drive to get home starting tomorrow about 8 AM.
