This history is suggestive that you need a proper clinical evaluation and investigations for the proper diagnosis and management. This is not K means Potassium related as the problems are for lower limbs only. In electrolyte imbalance all the body can have pains and twitches randomly. The most probable cause looks to be related to the spine as the pressing prolapsed disc can cause such a problem. I would advise you to have MRI of the lower spine, clinical examination by an Orthopedic Surgeon and so on.
