What Causes Fetal Movements And Growth Despite Negative Pregnancy Tests?
Had a blood test done after feeling movements in my tummy and after 4 urine test all negative. Blood work showed hcg level as 271, but two weeks later did ultrasound and no sac found. Still feeling movements and my tummy is growing larger. Please help
Hello! First you should be sure that you can not feel fetal movement in a normal pregnancy at least 19-20 weeks (a little bit early if you have had a previous pregnancy). So, the movement you are feeling are not for sure fetal. Since you have this value of bHCG, it means that you are pregnant but you should to another accurate ultrasound (I would prefer vaginal one) to search for the sac, inside or outside the uterus. Blood hCG is more accurate than the urinary test. But, there many factors which contribute to growing belly. Check the uterus, ovaries and the bowels.
