What Causes Fever Along With Body Tremors?

My husband; male, 76 yr old, PPS, Quad by-pass; suddenly suffered a fever with tremendous shaking. He woke during the night with this, but went to be in a fine condition. No cold, no pains, etc. After fever broke, several hours later, suffered from extreme weakness and joint pain. Suggestions?

it depends how much temperature at time of fever.. if it was beyond 101degree than it may result in shaking n shivering...after recovery weakness will be their for few days... u should give him some multivitamins,proper diet
