What Causes Fever Along With Severe Fatigue In A Child?
My 10 year old son has had a fever between 99.6 and 100.8 for about 6 weeks now. The first set of tests showed nothing wrong. He has no other symptoms. At the beginning he was very tired and just wanted to rest. But now he has a lot of energy. Throughout this time, he has had plenty of fluids and is eating a lot. He is also going through a growth spurt. What do you think about the fever? He wants to get back to playing soccer tomorrow but I m reluctant.

there are two common causes of fever in children that are easily ignored ..one can be some throat infection .other typhoid .
look if he z having any cough ..if not get his throat examined for infection .if he has no cough he might hav typhoid
in typhoid children can hv abdominal pain n either constipation or diarrhea .look for these syptoms and treat accordingly
