Hi, my little sweet girl who is 21 months old has had a fever the last few days, feeling very puny and whiny. slight runny nose. she won t eat anything. she will still drink milk. her gums above her four front top teeth are very red and appear swollen. she points to her mouth like it hurts. she will NOT let me near her mouth with a toothbrush. i brush her teeth as much as i can but it is hard with a one year old. could she have gum/teeth problems at this young age??? i did manage to get a toothbrush in there and there was blood on the brush. help!!
Hi, your child has gum infection. She has swollen gums and you also noticed blood there and that is why she is having fever. In my opinion you should give Paracetamol Syrup for fever ans also antibiotics needs to be started in child. You should not brush teeths hard, it will be painful for child. I hope this has helped you. Take care.
