What Causes Fever, Chills, Shivering, Tightness In Chest That Reduces After Taking Ibuprofen?
Hello, I've been haVing some odd symptoms. Monday night out of no where i started getting the chills. And, my skin felt super sensitive. upon my.arrival home i took my temperature and disCovered i was at 101.8°. .i took 400 mg of ibuprofen. after being very cold and shivering under the blankets for an hour my fever started to go down and I started feeling much better
I went to sleep that night woke up the next morning with no fever but I did notice that my chest was a little tight later on that day around 6 p.m. just like the night before I started feeling Ilagan with the chills and my skin felt super sensitive again this time my fever was 102 .2 I took ibuprofen again and within an hour to started feeling much better
what could be causing this?

I have gone through your query.
From the symptoms you have mentioned, it is suggestive of Lower respiratory tract infection. Cause may be bacterial or viral or protozoa(malaria) Infection.
Taking Ibuprofen only will not help you out, it will reduce symptoms of tightness and fever.
An antibiotic course of levofloxacin with Ibuprofen will be required if its a bacterial infection. Viral Infection usually subsides of it own and only Symptomatic treatment is done.
Blood test should be done to rule out malaria.
