What Causes Fever, body Aches, chills, fatigue And White Spots Inside Throat?

I have had a fever, body aches, chills and been fatigued for the past day and a half. My throat is not really sore, but I noticed some white dots on one side this afternoon. Do I need to seek medical treatment, or are the white dots a sign of healing? Thank you!

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to health care magic,

If your symptoms are otherwise getting better then you might as well wait for a couple of days for the infection to recover completely and the white spots to go. If however they do not recover and the spots are becoming tiresome then you must consult an ENT as soon as possible.
In most of the cases the white spots may as you opined be a sign of healing but rarely they may also indicate persistent infection so it plays to be safe

hope this helps

regards
